Pipe smoker of the year

The honorary title "Pijproker van het Jaar" (pipe man of the year) is rewarded to undisputed persons who are known to smoke a pipe in public. Doing so they give a positive image of pipe smoking in general.

This tradition does exist in Holland since the 1970's, as it does in France, Great Britain and Germany, among others.
