Clubs in the Netherlands

As in many other countries, a number of pipe smoking clubs, guilds of societies exists in the Netherlands. Most of them have a long tradition and are to be found in rather isolated villages and cities outside the hussle of the "Randstad" the busy west part of the country). Some of them are discussion groups, others focus on smoking competitions, keeping the pipe alight as long as possible.

The Dutch Federation of Pipe Smokers is the national body to co-ordinate the activities and competitions and to represent the Netherlands in the international Federations (see § 8 on the CIPC).

Most clubs welcome guests at their regular meetings on a fixed evening in the month. Feel free to contact the secretary to make an appointment.
