Drawers from the spare collections

On this page a small selection of the 300 drawers can be seen that are part of the spare collections of the Pijpenkabinet Foundation. Of all the pipes that have been collected in the past decade the best examples have been preserved. Every pipe has a unique collection number that stands for a deep going inventory in a data-base.

Together these objects are the national reference collection for the tobacco pipe, the biggest archive of pipes in the world. The are subject to research but also serve for exhibitions and as illustrations in general publications.
