Museum visits § 4

Special events

The thoroughly restored and splendidly furnished rooms of the Pijpenkabinet museum are also in demand for meetings of any kind. We welcome these visitors as long as they are of special character and small scale. The valuable collections offer a suitable environment for an event. Since the museum building is located along the canal, guests can even arrive by boat.

Within the limitations to protect the monumental values and the museum character enough possibilities are open. To give a few examples of the use of the museum:

  • a meeting or workshop for 4 to 14 persons, in all quietness of your own company, comfortable seated around a large table.
  • an exclusive lunch up to 12 persons in the impressive museum room, with pipes all around, of course with tailor made catering.
  • a small reception (maximum 25 guests), the invited guests can wander through the different rooms.

Catering is possible in every style and quality. Group visits can be made more attractive by serving coffee or tea, with cakes and chocolates. On demand drinks can be arranged. For lunches and dinners we anticipate to your wishes and expectations. We can provide dinners from a simple stew to dinners of the highest quality, made of fresh season's products, cooked in the classic French tradition.
